What is lambswool?
It was sheared from a baby sheep approximately 7 months or younger from its first shearing. It is the finest and softest because as the sheep ages the wool get coarser and thicker. Sheep are sheared to stay cooler in the warmer months and to reduce the risk of parasite infection. We do these sheep a service with the shearing as long as it is done in a cruelty-free manner and we get the benefit and gift of their wool that protects us from the cold weather as it does for them.
